I Decorate Myself Poem by Bharati Nayak

I Decorate Myself

Rating: 5.0

I decorate myself with words
Sometimes to express
Sometimes to camouflage
Could I express what I wanted to express
Could I conceal what I wanted not to reveal
I spill over my true self
in some unguarded moments
Because I wanted
Them to spill over
Because 'I' can not stand alone
Without my feelings
I unburden them
And breath fresh air
Aww! ! ! It is a great relief! !

So very, very true. It is a total relief if we remove them in our system; an extra baggage in life.

A wonderful poem so heartfelt. It resonates to many of us if not all. There are words that lurk in our hearts and in the recesses of our minds that need to be spilled out to lessen our baggage in this journey of life.
