I Fell For You
I had this thought inside my head
That you and I had a future ahead
It is so foolish of me to have misled
Those sweet words you have said
Thought those words were for me but I thought wrong
Those words are for her where you belong
It hurts to see you happy with her along
Yet here I am trying to look strong
Heartbreak could be very painful but at the same time useful. Its a nice piece.
it reflects true love...and the happiness which a true lover finds in the happiness of his/her beloved....very truthful lines direct from the heart
We encounter such situations often in our daily lives. Love is a spiritual experience that affects all and sundry profoundly. We do not choose whom we must fall in love with, it's a natural phenomenon. It's a lovely piece of poetry, nicely penned with beautiful and unique rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing.
