I Finally Can Live - Poem by Kathryn Miller

Now that you've gone...
I can finally join the rest of the world,
I can finally be the person I dreamed,
I can finally live,

Now that you’ve left…
I can finally move on,
I can finally change my world,
I can finally live,

Now that it’s over…
I can finally let go of this anger,
I can finally let go of you,
I can FINALLY live like you were never here.

'like you were never here' - a brave statement Kat, but memory, good or bad tells us otherwise, doesn't it? (Report) Reply
