I Found You In The Pages

I found You in the pages Lord
Of thy Holy Book
Where You revealed Yourself
When I really took a look
My heart sure had attentiveness
When the Holy Spririt brought it home
How the compilation of my sins
Brought You a Crown of Thorns

I followed You in Your ministry Lord
A God of miracle working power
Things You did to prove Your authenticity
You were ' the Man of the Hour'
Forgiveness poured from Your heart
You knew the depravity of sin
But with mercy and with saving grace
You could cleanse any soul within

You strengthened Your follwers with Resurrection power
You were seen alive from the dead
With the very same wounds from Calvary
Nail prints... the Crown of thorns on Your head
Yes there is power in the blood
That flowed through innocenct veins
Praise God that our Lord Jesus Christ still lives
Yesterday! ...Today! ...Forever the same! ! !
