I Gaze Across The Shore Poem by Paul Sebastian

I Gaze Across The Shore

Across seven seas you are
My heart gapped too far
Yearning, parched, forlorn
Since you left leaving me alone

Gone across, beyond our shores!

I rewind our precious moments
Replaying, my soul feels forsaken
My heart aches for kisses and hugs
Memories left behind now bugs

Longing I gaze across the shores!

Untamed to what separation meant
With prayer blessings, you I sent
Hours go slow and each day, crawls
My ears longs to hear your calls

I stand and gaze across the shores!

Early dawn I hear the waves moan
At night I watch the tearing moon
Stars glitter hope on different skies
Assure me, winking, that time flies

Stars, in dark night, I gaze across shores!

I content myself with kisses the sea breeze bring
Treasure messages you send each morning
Hold firmly to your promised love
I await your return, trusting God above

I gaze in hope, across the shores!
