I Had To Travel

I had to travel
A long distance,
I became very hungry
And thirsty too,
I moved from door to door,
Everybody ignored me,
At last.......
you fed me to the fullest
And quenched my thirst,
I got a cosy shelter too
In your calm and tranquil lap.
