I Have To Write Few Lines Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

I Have To Write Few Lines

Rating: 5.0

I do sit with hope uncertain,
Many confusions I do contain.
I think for while and soon stop,
By watching in far field of crop.

I have to write few lines in mind,
How here near me dances wind.
Cheerful of course this moment,
Let me read few poems, comment.

While moon comes with veil dark,
Twinkle star still in hope does spark.
Dogs bark in lonely road together,
Still I walk alone in street oh brother.

I come across far distance with hope,
Weather still shines and does cope.
I sit on rock and still more I do think,
In moonlight my shadow does sink.

Still I wait to write more few lines,
In name of God singing glory fines.
I have to write must my feelings ink,
In devotion of God let all soon link.

Words crowd in the mind, but they do not have a sequential order. How to put them in rhyming and meaningful verse is always a challenge. We need solitude to write poems. Sometimes we have to wait for hours. Sometimes it may come like a torrent all of a sudden. You have pictured the normal dilemma faced by a poet!

Yes, poems come to mind like smoke, like gossamer gauze, ever so vague; and we have to live that confusion a while, and later without a notice it emerges. Yea, something gels within...I have to write a few lines, .... but, but it takes time.
