I Hear It Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Hear It

I hear it

I hear it pass
Slowly and silently with class
I think it is inevitable
I can't make the timetable

In childhood, I want to speed up
Towards adulthood and keep up
The steady progress
And bring the shine on the face

The time makes me struggle
I am no exception from other people
For two ends meet
I will have to venture out

Life is not an easy
I remain busy
Work had for tomorrow
Not a single minute is allowed to pass

Time is still running away
I look back and stay
What have I gained during the journey?
My entire lie has been spent to remain happy

Nothing is on hand
Except for few friends
That includes wife an children
I will have to contend with this kind of heaven

I Hear It
