I Love All The Weeping Trees Poem by Kelly Boutin

I Love All The Weeping Trees

My weeping river
my weeping cherry
my weeping birch
my weeping peach

I love all the weeping trees
I love all the weeping things
I think it's ‘cause they weep like me
they weep when they're happy.

The river weeps waterfalls
the willow leaves always fall
the mulberry touches the dew
when lorikeets cry for you

I love all the weeping trees
I love every weeping thing

Behind every gibbon's moon
is an angel's weeping pool
God made things so beautiful
how can you not see the beauty?
How can you not weep with the weeping trees?

I love all the weeping trees
they weep when they're happy

weeping willow tree
weeping peach tree
weeping cherry tree
weeping mulberry

weeping willow tree
by the riverside
weeping cherry tree
pink, orange, and white
weeping peach tree
you're so far away
weeping mulberry
can you feel the rain?

This is a beautiful garden
with all my weeping trees
this is a beautiful graveyard
a beautiful place to die
this is a beautiful trailerhood
this is a beautiful home
this is a beautiful Georgia
where the weeping trees grow.

Weeping willow tree
weeping peach tree
weeping cherry tree
weeping mulberry

I love all the weeping trees
they weep when they're happy

I love all the weeping things
they weep just like me;

My weeping river
my weeping cherry
my weeping lovebird
my weeping peach.
