I'm Gonna Build My Future - Poem by Jawad Al Harake

I'm gonna build my future
And destroy all the cages
And I'm gonna make my name
Live forever through the ages

I'm gonna dive into the deepest oceans
And climb the highest mountain
And I'm gonna feed the hungry lions
That are desperately roaring within

I'm gonna sail through violent storms
And dance under heavy rain
And I'm gonna sleep in scorching heat
Feel the power boiling in my vein

I'm gonna make my way
Through spikes and fire
And collect thrown stones
To build my own empire

I'm gonna walk the path
Everybody fears to walk
And I'm gonna grind in silence
And let my success do all the talk

I'm gonna smile when it's tough
And laugh when it's not
I know hard work is the way
But a smile is a shortcut

The world shall not move on
    with yourGonna resolution
    it may need concrete steps
    with all good hopes

    let individual decide
    and not hide
what is necessary for self and country
so bow down and seek it from an almighty
