I'M Just Passing By Poem by Manonton Dalan

I'M Just Passing By

through farmlands potato grow
nurtured by cold wind blow
from deep ocean; sunlight too
i can only see rows in shadow
too dark for my eyes i know
a big billboard telling us so

single story houses dotted
roadsides like matchboxes
rusted field tools; no ox
tractors likes of ford, toro
plastic canopy waving to wind
inside your salads growing
