You said you would fix things
As you screwed my heart into
A socket and flipped the switch
I felt alive when you touched me
But this condition has me twitching
To the sound of bees buzzing because
The roofs been patched by an army
Of disgruntled cupids dispatched
Into working their magic show
When I am all alone in the crowd
Watching these illusions that remind me
How things can never be, so it seems
I crave the darkness because it makes
Me feel wanted when in reality it watches
Like a stalker with good intentions
Always trying to get the best of me
