I'm Thinking Of You In The Dark Poem by Hebert Logerie

I am presently drowning in the dark,
And I'm thinking of you tonight.
Despite the distance and the absence,
I physically feel your presence.
I close my eyes, and I see your silhouette,
And I hear a haunted noise in the toilet.

Where are you? That's the question I'm posing.
I open my eyes wide and take a break.
Oh! Your absence hurts me.My darling,
In the dark, I'm thinking of you tonight.
The past is often sad and rotten,
And your memory remains in my heaven.
