This is a very touching poem. Your little grand daughter will cherish this when she is older.
@Lyn Paul Thanks a lot for reading my poem and sharing your thoughts. Now that I have a granddaughter to be around with, a home without a baby in it would seem a barren desert. Much appreciate your comment.
@Kim Barney, Thanks for reading my poem and sharing your thoughts. She is my only grandchild, about six months old now. The immense love and affection that I feel for her, I didn't feel for my three children. I am glad that my feelings expressed through this poem have touched other hearts across the globe.
Very touching. I haven't seen any of my seventeen grandchildren for over a year now, and I do miss them. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Just the silence I imagine and no baby belongings around would be difficult. A baby is so much joy to watch. Expressed beautifully. Thank You
You have disarmed us all. It is such a lovely poem. We can empathize with you missing her joyful presence. Before going, she sang her songs / Through her cries for love / My home is now empty without her / Though she was our tiniest member.
How very sweet and tender, Sensitive hearts to this poem, Will without a doubt surrender. Loved it.!
