I Must Go Poem by Rekha Mandagere

I Must Go

Rating: 5.0

The time has come
I must go, I must go
Leaving this happy home
Breathing the memories of bliss
That falls upon me in cascades
Could anyone truly miss
Such a lovely ocean of warmth
That is beyond the sky's width
This is a boon bestowed to few
But blessed to be the one of few
I've enjoyed every moment here
Drinking the love of lovely angels!

The poem provokes feelings of sadness if we imagine one has to leave a state of such a huge bliss behind. Between the lines the reader feels the sorrow but also the gratefulness and thankfulness of the poet. Change in our life is quite a constant. Many of the things in our lives are transient, but this does not take away if the pain if we have to leave something very precious behind. I pray very much for your strength, Rekha, and if you truly cannot stay, I hope you can take much of the bliss with you. A ten for the poem
