I need a portrait-
You may wonder why?
Deep in the night hours
My thoughts
Rebound on the walls,
I wish to cross over.
The space inside
Is far too limited.
So also the life sustaining air
Which I might run out of.
Here are the bruises,
Abundance of senseless vacuum.
The wounds are unlikely
To ever be healed.
I need your portrait
To have a glance,
To cross over all the walls,
To connect my past to the future,
To see the light rays of dawn tomorrow,
To witness the washing of rose petals
Of the garden by the night's dews.
The promises
The dreams in those eyes say-
Life isn't over,
The beauty is to be alive,
Only the living ones are beautiful
The rest are unknowns.
