I Said I Loved You Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Said I Loved You

Rating: 5.0

I said I loved you
Because I was weak
It's been more than a week
Since I've been thinking of you.

I said I loved you
Because I had nothing to say
And nothing else to excite you
Late last night as you walked away.

I think I meant what I said
I felt very good after expressing
Myself. I felt strong like a king
Who saw blue, black and red.

That was unbelievable; I had a lot nerves
To candidly open the door of my soul
For you to enter your beautiful curves
After all, my darling, I wasn't a dumb fool.

I said I loved you
With all my heart and passion
I paid the strange violation
And no balance was due.

I said I loved you
Because I was hopeless and desperate
I was uncomfortable, nervous and irate
Yes, what I have been saying was true.
