I Said It

I finally said it out loud
The words that were choked for so long
Gave voice to my thoughts
Trapped in my mind for so long
And yes, I felt so alive
After being trodden upon for so long
My heart beating wildly
with the rush of being bold
My eyes shining brightly
with the first rays of hope.
