A Mother's Time Poem by Nidhi Agrawal

A Mother's Time

Rating: 5.0

The children are gone, the nest is empty
My heart is wrenched with time so plenty
The house is silent
But my ears are ringing
With the sound of laughter
Like a sweet melody
I keep searching for their sweet faces
For squeals and sobs and toys aplentyTime
Time to sit quietly with a cup of tea
And prepare to accept that this time,
is just for me.
