Innocent eyes
gazing at distant skies
trying to fathom
the meaning of life
Brimming with hope
for a sunny day
trusting others
to lead the way
But all too soon
they realise
nothing's fair
and that's life
You have to find
your own true voice
take it or leave it
it's your choice
The only helping hand
is at the end of your own arm
The only guiding light
comes from your own heart.

I would like to translate this poem
All too soon, children realise that they have to grow up and take responsibility for their actions. The bubble of innocence rarely lasts and when it breaks, so does a piece of our heart.
