I Shall Miss Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Shall Miss

When I look down the valley
I feel it so deep and dangerous really
I feel astonished how come I reached top
When there was o rope to hang on atop

Yes, it was long journey
Almost 5 years in world of poetry
Meeting different people with divergent views
And almost agreeing with few

It is feeling in desert
Where you thirst at heart
You are facing oasis water
And you are endlessly running after

Lucky you are if you find tree
High enough with no shade as free
Yet that solid tree gives hope
To work with and go non stop

I feel to sit down and rest
Eyes need so many tests
Body has tired out with hemoglobin
I am compelled and forbidden

May be two months or so
I shall be away or go
With compulsory absence
I shall miss everybody's presence
