I Shall Not Do
I shall not do
Saturday,24th April 2021
Time may not be on my side
but it can't decide
what to erase!
and what to chase!
I refuse to surrender
and offer
any compromise
that is my promise
my childhood
my neighbourhood
it is all understood
it stands good in my memory
what a love!
and I surely believe
it is a great time to live with the memory
as a gift from an almighty
nobody can take away
they will stay
let me grow old and even die
I shall try to hold
I know time may turn cruel
and tell
to wind up everything
I shall stay on to bring its no burial
