I Sighed For Dead Skunks (Senryu) Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

I Sighed For Dead Skunks (Senryu)

Rating: 5.0

I saw a dead skunk.
He crossed a road and was struck.
One more life was crushed!

This skunk was a male
Roamed at night for a spring date.
Did he find his mate?

I sighed for a while
Upon this unpleasant sight.
A skunk lost his life!

Many skunks had died.
Many roadkills every night
Many times I sighed.
