I Smile

I smile
With great ease,
My companion sees me
For a long time in amazement
And then asks me,
'Why do you smile? '
Immediately I answer,
'I love to smile,
It gives me real peace and serenity, '
Being surprised,
My companion laments,
'But I can't smile,
It is alien to me.'
