I lay here staring at the ceiling,
Your words still flooding my mind,
'Im sorry, I just want to stay friends',
I think to myself where do i go from here?

I want to cry but i cant,
Even my emotions don't want to feel anymore,
You made me love you but didn't love me back,
At least not in the same way.

It wasn't your fault i fell in love with you,
Your laugh smile and beautiful eyes,
I don't know what to do now,
Life has no purpose anymore.

But I'll try to carry on,
For your sake I'll still smile and laugh back,
Even if every smile tears another part of me,
Its worth it to see you happy.
