I Still Rise Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

I Still Rise

Rating: 5.0

Rock me left
Shove me right
Put me down
I'll get up

I am a Negro
Hit me below
Do what you do
It's not new

I am original
Aboriginal
In my history
No mystery

Maya Angelou
Now an angel
Rest in peace
Wrote her piece

Lynch me
Throw me at sea
I will still rise
With the sunrise

I have known your words, monsieur, better than these, you are now writing only to be rhyming, you are NOT Aboriginal, but even now despite all, I still enjoy!

Against gravity how will you rise. Your spirits may go high but body will remain tight with earth. Nice inspiring poem, Bro.
