After you shattered my glass jar
I suffer so, my wounds ache and bled
Although I try to hide my pain
and hide my tears from your view...
I know I'm stubborn,
you have explained.
Believe me, I understand!
You said, "I do love you! "
I said, "I know! "
For I am in no mood to talk.
You said, "Please believe me,
I do love you! "
I said, "Yes, I know! "
Will I trust you with my heart again?
Can a child value a gem?
A child is not to blame for its loss
but the giver for her trust.
I asked, I pleaded I begged,
but you remained dead
pride, pain, fear, un-forginess prevailed
building up a wall around your heart.
After all you did explain.
I doubt that broken glass can ever mend
the pain will pass, life goes on
I still love you...
but a part of me has left
never to come back again.
And here we remain
two longing souls
caught in the toils of life
spending time together
but alone
breathing
yet dead!
Yes, I know! You've explained.
Trust me,
I understand!
It may take some time but your broken glass can be fixed, maybe not the same way as it was before, it can never be the same. I feel your pain. Sad but wonderful poem Luz.
