I've Got A Tiny Problem

Rating: 5.0

I've got a tiny problem,
It has to do with this guy,
I usually talk so loud,
But with him I'm all shy.

I guess you could call it a crush,
That will pass over a few years,
But just thinking of him rejecting me,
Makes me break into tears.

The feelings I get when I look at him,
Or when I stare into his eyes,
I know saying ‘I don't love him',
Is just another of my lies.

But we'll never be together,
And that's what breaks my heart,
I just know for sure,
That one day we'll split apart.

No more gazing into his eyes,
No more listening to his voice,
Being together, forever,
Clearly isn't a choice.

I've got a tiny problem,
It has to do with this guy,
But it's time for him to leave,
It's time to say goodbye.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It started out as a song. It still is a song, with a tune of it's own, but I guess it could also be classified as a poem.
