Well in my humble opinion David, the once that you've penned in its place bears a family resemblance to the original. Great poem. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Oh David, how beautifull, sorry you did lose it, however this is amazing how you can recall and RECAPTURE the feel....... That happened to me a few weeks ago, an inspiration I had been working on, and it came together and then click, it was gone, my computer shut down..... Now what I do, I am sure you do too and all out there, is, print a copy of the poem, then after I have accumulated some, I type them into my poetry file, but I save the printed one and transfer it to decorated paper for gifts, ect this way I am never lost with out my poetry... As recapturing the feel is the hard thing as you know as a writter..... Very good... Bonnie Collins

Well if you lost it David, I am so sorry, but your rendition of it was a glorious one. A beautiful alternative. You are a good poet and there is nothing sadder than losing such a gift of a poem. I know a community that lost everything in one click. 20,000 writers infact lost that Catastrophic Tuesday and the pain of their loss is a terrible cry from their hearts. All we can do is keep writing and remember to back up. Smiling at you, Tai
