I Want To Be A Gardener

Rating: 5.0

I want to be a gardener
to learn the thrift industry
to make the earth giggle
with beautiful flowers

I want to be a gardener
vigour and freedom to addict
careful and watchful
to trim and prune and thinning crown

I want to be a gardener
kindle the earth with my fingers
toil it until it is ready
with no broken or dead feelings

I want to be a gardener
birds as my guests
welcome the wink and blink of butterflies
honey bees to drink the honey to heartfelt

I want to be a gardener
squirrels and monkeys to eat and enjoy
weed off the threats and danger
happiness and merry spread across

I want to be a gardener
birth of innocent flowers
pink of roses, marigold challenges the sun
lavender mist, hibiscus in various hues
long lasting laughter of the almighty
decorated the pots of my soul
