I will never bow my head,
To those who seek to overcome.
I will never yield my ground,
To any who trespass carefree.
I will never speak of ills,
Of my family and friends.
I will never kneel before,
False gods, kings and baubles.
I will never band with bullies,
Cowards and low moral fibre.
I will fight them forever,
I will never, never give up.
And if the odds are unsurmountable,
Then I and many others will die trying.
For a good death is its own reward.
A powerful and beautiful poem. Wonderful attributes of a great man. Very inspiring. A great dedication to your father, Shaun. Thanks for sharing.Top Marks! ! !

Wonderful homage to your father and your friend Shaun! I too completely concur with you about the importance of virtue and faith. Sadly these days I see myself more and more as a one man army. I will keep beating my own drum. Yet it is good to know that someone like you, a fellow noble British knight, feels the same way. Consequently, it's undoubtedly a faithful five from me!
