I Woke Up This Morning Poem by Marilyn Lott

I Woke Up This Morning

Rating: 4.8

When I woke up this morning
I realized everything was fine
I had no real worries
No reason to frown or whine

As far as I knew I had nothing
That was life threatening
Even though the grim reaper
Was slowly but steadily becoming

All my friends and loved ones
Seemed to be doing well too
We all had hopes and wishes
And dreams we planned to pursue

That’s the most one can wish for
A clear check list every single day
So I got myself out of bed
Got busy without a single delay!

Yes! We should enjoy our morning wakeup call and all of each new day So don't just slouch and be a grouch and waste your life away For one day, to your dismay, the grim reaper may - decide to make his play! A great read Marilyn! *10*! ! Friend Thad
