I Would So Love To Retire Poem by Brooke Renwick

I Would So Love To Retire

Rating: 5.0

My girlfriend is good to me!
Sometimes if I'm grumpy
She becomes all sulky.
I must learn to remain happy.

We went to town for coffee
Bought a lotto, it's unlucky
The road of life all bumpy
Made our suspension spongy

In 10 years I'll be 60
Age is catching up with me
Time will tell if it's gonna be
Still working or retiree.

Maybe I'll make a century
That would be so funky
Growing plants in my nursery
I really need a money tree.
