Ian Player Poem by Adrian Flett

Ian Player

Rating: 5.0

When I; just a boy, he was famed
of river and of rhinoceros.
A pioneer, leader - much acclaimed
the champion of wilderness.
When first I met him face to face
evidence there was of the iron will.
Physically limited now but yet in its place
champion of wilderness, river, rhino still.
Through Jungian dreams, foundations, trusts
to exhort, to encourage all seeking release,
his world-wide fame now exists.
The legacy for all to know inner peace.
Lasting, his impact on both young and old
There for all to have and behold.
