...Icious Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

...Icious

Rating: 4.5

Clinging to the vine
Ripening in the sun
Breathing unconsciously
Life has just begun

Reaching maturity
With natural ease
Abounding with sweetness
Bruised by a continuous squeeze

Releasing calming juices
Succulent and exhilarating
Lifting spirits joyfully...
Totally inebriating

I really liked it, and yes, it was Delicious! It made me think of a kiwi, then an apple, no, a peach! Either way it played upon my senses, and now all I can think about is sweet succulent fruit.... Well I'm going to go make myself some fruit for breakfast now, thankyou! ..... Marina Gasbey.....

This is...iciously...icious! but which..icious will I pick? so many...icious words are not so nice - like malicious, pernicious, suspicious, fictitious - only delicious comes close to my feelings - delicious words, but not quite. Magnificent is more like it, Theresa yes, magnificent. Mark
