If you could see me crying would you really care?
If you saw me angry would you really be scared?
If I needed your help would you come rescue me?
If you saw me hurting would you let me be?
If I told you my deepest secret would you let it slip?
If I wanted to run away would you take that trip?
If I were to die tomorrow would there be anything left unsaid?
If you could see me now would I be crying in my bed?
If you answered any of these questions would you tell me any lies?
If you saw me right now would it give you butterflies?
If there was something you wanted to tell me would you say it to my face?
If you told me the truth would I need tissues just in case?
If you really cared would you treat me with respect?
If you really didn’t is it my feelings you would protect?
