If I held out my hand
and opened up my heart
to let you have what was inside
would it be by me forever
that you would stand

If I asked for a new start
with you and me together
and wiped the tears away
that for me you cried
could you give it another chance

If I would promise to never hide
these feelings I have for you
and bring back all that's died
would you let me stay
and begin with me a new day

If I could have you love me again
the way you once use to
would you walk here with me
through the blowing wind
to let love shine what we use to see
and with me once more dance
