If God Exists, Has God Forgotten About Us

Rating: 5.0

A question lingers, heavy, leaves.
If God exists, why hide divine?
In troubled hearts, no star doth shine.

The world in chaos, tears descend,
Yet prayers unheard, our sorrows blend.
Does heaven sleep, or turn away?
In search of solace, hearts decay.

But hold, within despair's embrace,
A flicker still, a trace of grace.
Perhaps unseen, yet ever near,
God's silence speaks, the cosmic ear.

A very impressive and wonderful poem that so well synthesizes perfectly how so many feel today, Natural yet poetic, this poem says what many feel but just don't know how to say, Thank you for this marvelous gift you have so gracefully written for all of us today!
