If God is human just like us
Maybe He could be one of my classmates
Then I could ask Him about our homeworks
And maybe we could be best buddies

If God is human just like us
Maybe He is one of those on a passenger seat
Silently sitting on a bus while enjoying his ride
And maybe we could be sitting at each other side

If God is human just like us
Maybe He could be one of my college instructor
I would say 'Good Morning Sir' every time He enters the door
And I will get His pen when He drops it on the floor

If God is human just like us
Maybe He could be one of my close friends
We could have a nightout together and have some beers
And when I get drunk He would bring me home

If God is human just like us
Maybe He could be a crew at a fastfood chain
I would ask Him to get me my pasta and burger
And He would be smiling while serving my order

If God is human just like us
Maybe He could be one of us staring at the traffic light
While waiting for the red to appear on sight
He could be one of us walking on an alley every night

If God is human just like us
Maybe He could be one of those oppositions
He would be fighting for a change, for a better nation
And I would look up to him and give my salutation

Maybe He could be one of us in a crowd
We could be in same messy place waiting for our favorite rockstar
Maybe we would be giggling together while shouting out loud

Maybe He could be one of our Soldiers
He would be deployed in a strange places
Every year He would be living with different faces

Maybe He could be one of the ambassador
He would be visiting every race and nation
He would be promoting a better world to live on

If God is human just like us
Maybe He could be one of those fresh graduates
He would have a weary face while walking with sweats
He would be one of those struggling to find a slot in offices

Maybe He could be one of those engineers
He would be building long bridges and high towers
He would be working all day long with his workers

Maybe He could be a chief executive officer
He would be running a multi corporation
And I would be one of his company's investor

Maybe He could be one of my neighborhood
I could simply go to His house and have some talk
I could call on Him and invite Him for a morning walk

Maybe He could be a member of a choral group
He would be a master of keyboard
He would be practicing late, trying to perfect the notes

Maybe just like me He would be staring at the sky
Every night He would be looking at the stars
While missing His loveone from across the far

If God is human just like me
Maybe at this very minute He would be sitting where I am sitting
He would be writing the poem that I am writing
And He would be thinking what I am thinking
