If I was a poet

If I was a poet
I shall prove to be right
But never be caught
On wrong foot
No, poems are not my brain child
But they are of some kind
That penetrates the mind of poor
And strengthens the belief of neighbor
No, there is no other go
When we blow
The slogans of brotherhood
That is easily understood
I shall never prefer to be known, model
But tell on the face
That I breathe the same air
And try to be close to their heart
I need to write difficult phrases
Or involve in hard verses
My endeavor shall be simple and straight
Let it keep me down and below the height
You are a poet already, Hasmukh ji R R Gandikota, Kakinada, Apr 11,2018
