For long been man amusing women,
Why, women seem to laugh more than men.
As old as mating game,
A hard job all the same;
Wonder if men can a laughter can.
For poets that be men,
Hard to muse, muse of pen,
Harder still if that be lady dame!

Thank you indeed, Dr Swain, for reading this ditty and rating it so well. It is when the humour is not hailed, one feels bad.

The title of this wonderful poem drew me to read the whole write. Very captivating and clever title. The rest of the work is amazingly humorous and entertaining as well. Excellently penned.
It helps if the pen of the poet has some humour, yet a lot depends on the reader poet, if there is humorous bone (not the one in the arm, which is spelled differently) . Thank you.
