If Madness Was Consumed By Sanity

Rating: 2.8

if madness was consumed by sanity,
would ward rounds be necessary.
if anarchy was disolved by harmony,
would the upholders of the law,
be shown the door.
if death was prevented,
and life eternally extended,
would the men in black,
shack up
and retire.
if love ruled strong,
and its fruit never turn sour,
would we then be happy.
if poverty was sold to luxury,
would the needy not need charity.

if madness was consumed by sanity,
where would all the great writers be,
if anarchy was dissolved by harmony,
would robots be all we see,
if death was prevented,
and life eternally extended,
there would be no martyrys
to worship.
if love ruled strong,
revenge would have no home.
if poverty was sold to luxury,
our spare change,
would no longer distance there pains.

if everything that is wrong is put right,
life was cease from evolving,
and i would stop writing.
