If Only A Glance
You were part of my life
like a warm summer breeze,
Now you drift with my thoughts,
if i only could see.
Your bright happy smile,
your face at my door,
As each minute goes by,
I'm missing you more.
Your warmth touched my heart,
it just can't be replaced,
Those memories of you,
just can't be erased.
In life i can't hold you,
in dreams there's a chance,
to see you again,
if only a glance.
Stay with me always,
in heart and in soul.
I'll never forget you,
I won't let you go.
