I longed to see you,
To hold your loving hands,
I longed to hold you,
But Covid changed our plans.
To give you comfort,
To tell you it's alright,
To sit beside you,
Through, each long and lonely night.
I'm really grateful,
I saw you at the end,
To say I love you,
My Dad, my precious friend.
