If You Fell - Poem by David Harris

If you fell in love with someone
and could not tell them that you do,
they could go on living
never knowing that you cared.

We all cross this dilemma
at least once in our life.
We are afraid to say
and let that love drift away.

There are reasons why we do it,
as we do not want our partner to know
and end up with loyalty to one
and love for the other.
