Illusion - Poem by Sayeed Abubakar

At last she came.
Her name
was uttered in the air.
My hair
stood erect in awe. My
eyes got upturned. And I
got afraid like a deer.
She smiled and said 'O Dear! '
Then she came near.
I stared at her but saw there none.
She's gone!
