Impression · Sunset Poem by Nancy Wang

Impression · Sunset

Rating: 5.0

The street, people walk home wearing the golden light

You know, they’ re tired but happy

You bring the most beautiful to the world

Every place, every face, every shadow

Some say, you ‘ re so strong, like thousands of arrows

to me, you ‘ re so gentle. elegant and delicate

I can feel, you touch my cheek.body, so warm

I can smell, so fragrant like strawberries or bread just baked

You know, you’re the secret of my happiness. You always know.

I like this. Simple and unpretentious, yet sensitive and delicate.

Hi Nancy I enjoyed this poem, it was short but the words struck home. I sometimes find it difficult to express myself onto paper.
