In A Bubble Poem by Jennifer Birchall

In A Bubble

Rating: 5.0

I feel nothing
No anger, sadness, happiness
Just emotionless
Like I am floating in a bubble
I can see and hear everything
Is it protecting me?
Because outside is chaos

This bubble will pop eventually
I will come crashing down
Into all the madness

Life itself is bubble dear poetess. Loved the concept of indifference expressed in the opening four lines.

When we find ourselves void of feelings, we are separated from real life in a sense...I love your question..is it protecting me? , questions in a poem turns it in another direction which I think is cool! Good poetry!
