In A Hammock Between The Trees Poem by Jim Yerman

In A Hammock Between The Trees

Rating: 5.0

No mater how low you're feeling...no matter how ill at ease...
Your troubles seem to float away...in a hammock between the trees.

In the quiet...and the solitude...rocked by a gentle breeze...
Your breathing slows...time has no meaning...in a hammock between the trees.

You close you're eyes and imagine...you're in a ship on the 7 seas...
Undulating with each wave...in a hammock between the trees.

My suggestion for all world leaders...would be to buy a hammock...PLEASE!
For, it seems to me, it would be hard to wage war...from a hammock between the trees.
