Let's not get confused about this!
When I said I do not care...
I don't!
But let me clarify that.

I do not care to burden my priority list.
Right now you are not on it.
But that should not anger you.
You should be pleased.
At least I'm doing something for myself.
And not asking you to loan me ten dollars.

You didn't think of it that way,
Did you?

And those folks I keep on my priority list?
Are not as close to me as one might think.
In fact,
I am more in their lives...
Than they are in mine!
They know why I keep in touch.

So, let's not get confused about this!
